Grumpy-Pod is the home of unfiltered and amusing chatter between Vic and Jack, two middle-aged blokes who have seen it all and have opinions which they are happy to share.
In their uniquely cynical and irreverent manner, they cover both headline and obscure news from the week, asking important questions, albeit that for most of them, there probably are no answers!
Be warned that in the podcast nothing is sacred, everything is up for debate and nobody is safe from ridicule as your hosts dissect the latest current affairs with unapologetic enthusiasm.
They will tackle the tough topics, the frustrating ones, and the ones that just make you go 'huh?' There will be reminiscing about days gone by, when 'woke' wasn't even a word, mobile phones were just used to make a call and you could say things without worrying if somebody somewhere might be 'triggered'!
There will be 'colourful' language along the way as Vic and Jack comment on the news and the people making it, often sharing their bewilderment about when and how it all went wrong!
They will reflect on times when life was a lot simpler and ordered. Those good old times when the people around you were more considerate and helped in a time of need, rather than videoing somebody being mugged, before uploading it to their 'socials'!
Think of Grumpy Pod as your weekly therapy session (without the couch), where your hosts share and put forward views that other news programmes do not!
From roadworks to ignorant drivers and inconsiderate commuters, they will also be sharing the things that have conspired to ruin their week and want to hear from you too. So, if there is anything that really grinds your gears, or simply just makes you sigh "Really?!" let them know.
You will not be judged (too much) and as many as possible will be shared with the audience of fellow 'grumpies' with Vic and Jack obviously also chipping in with their thoughts!
New episodes drop weekly, so grab a cup of coffee, or a stiff drink, and let's get cynical, disillusioned and grumpy together!
